Supply Chain Management and Customs Simplification
Description
While studying this subject, students explore the issues and challenges of supply chain management and simplification of customs formalities. The purpose of the course is to provide knowledge about supply chain management processes, their interrelationships, supply chain actors, potential risks in supply chain management, the principles of the green supply chain, and green logistics in developing sustainability, and simplification of customs formalities procedures in the supply chain; develop systematic and critical thinking in the supply, production and distribution of products in international markets for organizations. The subject results are achieved by applying traditional lectures, case studies, integrating lectures of business and public sector representatives during the study process.
Aim of the course
To provide students with theoretical and practical knowledge of supply chain management and simplification of customs formalities, developing systematic and critical thinking in the supply, production and distribution of products in international markets for public and private business organizations.

4. Cooperation and its development in the supply chain.
5. Managing risks and changing conditions in the supply chain.
6. Sustainability and the green supply chain.
7. Use of information technology for the supply chain management.
8. The role of the international supply chain and logistics in them.
9. Simplifications of customs formalities and authorisations: effects on the supply chain.
Assesment Criteria
1. Describe and explain the individual supply chain management processes and their interrelationships within individual companies and throughout the supply chain.
2. Identifies supply chain actors and analyses and substantiates collaboration's benefits and development.
3. Explain the potential risks in supply chain management and justify their causes.
4. Ability to apply the principles of green supply chain and green logistics to the sustainable development of supply chain actors.
5. Is familiar with the principles governing customs licenses and certificates and the procedures for simplifying customs formalities.
6. An individual work has been prepared and publicy presented.
