ICT Infrastructure and Digital Transformation
Description
The course introduces the students to the digital transformation phenomena and digital strategy making for a company. Students get acquainted with main information and communication infrastructure (ICT) technologies, enabling new ways to digitalize processes in a company. They learn to mine and model business processes for visualizing company digital twins, to design digital business technology platforms and service-oriented architectures, to employ cloud computing, AI and data analytics technologies in company ICT infrastructure, manage digital transformation projects.
Aim of the course
The purpose of this course is to teach how to create a digitization strategy in an organization, manage the digital transformation process, using modern ICT technologies and infrastructure as an enabler of digital transformation.

Assesment Criteria
1. Explains the digital transformation concept, advantages, implementation examples.
2. Formulates and presents digital strategy for a company.
3. Plans ICT infrastructure architecture and elements, needed for digital strategy implementation.
4. Builds and presents business process models for at least two business processes.
