Description
The aim of this course is to introduce students with advanced technologies necessary for mitigation of environmental impact. After completion of this course students will be able to characterize state of environment, to choose necessary technical environmental impact mitigation measures and evaluate their efficiency.

Environmental pollution and regulation. Water resources, water quality and water supply systems. Wastewater and their sources. Waste and their management. Energy production and distribution. Renewable and non-renewable energy sources. Transport systems.
Air pollution measurements, monitoring, modelling. Mobile source air pollution control. Stationary source air pollution control. Wastewater treatment methods and devices. Noise measurements and control.
Atmospheric dispersion of pollutants. Type of source. Type of component. Requirements on emission and meteorological data of the models. Atmospheric dispersion modelling from mobile sources.
