Enterprise IT Management
Description
The course is an introduction to managing and leading the IS function within organizations. The focus is on management issues and problems. Issues such as the strategic alignment of information technology services and infrastructure with the organization’s objectives are emphasized rather than details of the computing and communications technology that underlie information systems. This course gives an overview of the IT governance, IT value delivery, resource and risk management and performance measurement based on such frameworks and good practices like COBIT, ITIL, ISO 27001 and other standards. It helps to understand how IT works in organizations and how students could use it to broaden their technical and managerial skills gained already.
Aim of the course
Introduce to the Enterprise IT management based on good IT governance and management practices and standards like COBIT, ITIL, ISO 27001, focusing on practical application of the mentioned standards.

Assesment Criteria
1. Mini research project should be properly documented, focused, clear and clean. The work should have objective, tasks, analysis and results presented as conclusions.
2. Results of mini research project should be presented and defended.
