Computer Literacy

This course aims: to describe the importance of computers in today's world; to identify the career opportunities available for a computer-literate person; to describe common computing devices such as laptops, netbooks, tablets, and phones; to explain the concept of minimum requirements for computer system; to describe the components of a computer; to explain programs and data; to describe a network and the types of networks; to describe the types of communications programs and their uses; to describe the uses of the Internet and Cloud Services; to explain computer security and privacy; to identify measures to protect against threats from human actions.
