Specialization Instrument II
Description
Specialization instrument (specialization – violin, viola, cello, doublebass, guitar) – is a study subject designed for the performer‘s Professional skills development. Is the second level out of four semesters. During which the student‘s abilities, knowledge and skills are deepened – the basics of soloist professionalism, the expansion of diverse repertoires, and modern repertoire knowledge. The content of the studies consists of pieces of various epochs and styles, large-scale works and pieces for instrument solo.
Aim of the course
To develop the musical-artistic abilities of the master’s student: improve his playing skills, artistic and stage expression, enrich his repertoire and refine the perception of style and artistry.
Prerequisites
The Master‘s student must have taken the Specialization Instrument (M1) subject and passed the exam.
Course content
Assesment Criteria
1. Evaluation of the technicality of the performance.
2. Evaluation of the understanding of the form and stylistics of different epochs.
3. Evaluation of the content and emotional expression.
4. Assessment of stage self-control.
