Security Challenges in Contemporary World
Description
This course will be focused on the analysis of nowadays national and international security challenges in the contemporary world. Students will get familiar with basic concepts of national and international security. The course will also provide different theories in order to understand and explain security. While applying different theoretical approaches, students will broaden their knowledge on such topics as conflicts and wars, the refugee crisis, cyber threats, climate change, impact of different threats to national and international security. The course will also introduce students to means to answer threats. At the end of this course, students will gain knowledge, necessary for work in analytical organizations.
