Dalyko anotacija lietuvių kalba
Studijuodami arabų kalbos 4 lygį studentai toliau plėtoja žemesniuose lygiuose įgytą arabų kalbos komunikacinę kompetenciją pasiekdami pažengusiųjų lygį. Taikomi komunikaciniai į gebėjimų tobulinimą orientuoti mokymo/si metodai. Siekiama plėsti studentų žinias apie arabų kalbos sistemą, tobulinti fonetikos, ortografijos, gramatikos bei leksikos vartojimo kompetencijas bei ugdyti atitinkamo lygmens kalbėjimo, klausymo, rašymo ir skaitymo gebėjimus. Taikoma mišri studijų forma: paskaitos, darbas grupėse, vaidmenų žaidimai, darbas SANAKO multimedia laboratorijoje ir MOODLE virtualioje aplinkoje (sinchroninės/asinchroninės konsultacijos, diskusijų forumai, interaktyvios užduotys), savarankiškas darbas praktiškai taikant teorinę medžiagą.

This course presents a follow-up programme of the previous lower level Arabic language courses and provides students with the Intermediate level of the Arabic language. Based on communicative methodology and a skill-oriented approach, the course aims to present the learners with the Arabic language system, improving phonological, orthographical, grammatical and lexical competencies and developing speaking, listening, writing and reading skills of the relevant level. The form of studies includes lectures, seminars, self-study tasks and work in SANAKO lab and in virtual MOODLE environment (on-line work, synchronous and asynchronous conversations and discussion forums, interactive tests and exercises).

Visit to an Arabic country :
To use the skills and expression learned in the previous levels to describe a visit to an Arabic country, to learn new expression related to travels, feelings, weather and nature.
Grammar: to use properly the negation tools and expressions in verbal and nominal sentences.
Reading comprehension: to read texts related to touristic destinations and adaptation of living in a different country.
Listening: To listen to dialogs related to an event in a touristic place, answering the related questions.
Writing: To write a short text using the new vocabulary and grammar learned in the unit describing a visit to a country abroad.
Speaking: to engage into a conversation speaking about different destinations visited and describing the living there regarding weather, people, events and different touristic places.
Hobbies: To speak in more details about different hobbies, why they are useful and how students are spending their leisure time.
Grammar: types of Standard Verbs and week Verbs, Infinitive in Arabic.
Reading and comprehension: to read texts related to different hobbies, sports and Olympic games and to answer the related questions.
Listening: To listen t a radio program related to sports and to answer the related questions.
Writing: To write an essay using the new vocabulary and grammar learned in the unit describing your favorite hobby and how do you enjoy it.
Speaking: Group discussion regarding hobbies and how student’s are spending their leisure time.
Proverbs in Arabic Introduction to some popular proverbs in Arabic culture, how they are related to everyday’s life and the stories behind them.
Grammar: Comparisons in Arabic, agent noun and Present participle in Arabic.
Reading and comprehension: to read texts in sophisticated language related to proverbs in Arabic culture.
Listening: To listen to several conversations representing some proverbs related to some daily life situation and answers the questions.
Writing: To write an essay using the new vocabulary and grammar learned to describe proverb from the student’s culture or from Another culture.
Speaking: Group work, write a short story related to one of the learned proverb, other groups has to guess the proverb.
Characters: Introduction to some famous traditional figures in Arabic history.
Grammar: Relative pronounces in Arabic, Feminine Ta’a letter and cases or writing.
Reading and comprehension: To read and understand text using the new learned words related to historical “Hakawati” character.
Listening: to listen and to understand a dialog speaking about well known artist, then to answer the question related.
Writing: To write an essay using the new vocabulary and grammar learned speaking about a person or a figure that had great footprints in history.
Speaking: Group work, Discuss in groups about one of the figures in some photos and their contribution to humanity.
Traditions and habits: To learn terms and expressions used to speak about traditions or habits in the Arabic world.
Reading comprehension: To read and understand articles speaking about customs and traditional celebrations in different countries in the Arabic world.
Listening: to listen to a report speaking about different occasions in Arabic world, to answer related questions.
Writing: to write a text speaking in more details about traditional celebration in the student’s country.
Speaking: Group work, each group prepares a presentation about a celebration related to the Arabic tradition or Islamic religion.
