International Business Law
Description
To provide students with theoretical and practical knowledge and to develop the ability to apply the norms of international business law in professional activities. While studying this subject, students are introduced to the basics of international business law and their influence on business logistics; promotion of foreign investments in Lithuania and opportunities for establishing and conducting business in the EU; protection of intellectual property in business logistics in Lithuania, the European Union and the world. To get acquainted with the requirements and procedure for employment of foreigners in Lithuania and the procedure for resolving disputes in business logistics in Lithuania and EU countries. After completing this course, students will be able to: apply the sources of international business law in business logistics; to analyze and apply the legal regulation of foreign investments in business logistics; will be able to apply the knowledge gained in practice in concluding international business agreements; will be able to protect intellectual property; will gain practical knowledge how and in what order disputes between business entities in business logistics are settled not only in Lithuania, but also abroad. The study methods of the subject include interpretation, illustration, discussion, performance of practical tasks, invitation of visiting lecturers - business logistics practitioners.

3. Investments and their promotion in business logistics in Lithuania.

5. Business opportunities and start-up arrangements in individual EU countries.
6. Economic diplomacy.
7. Lithuania as a member of international organizations.
8. Peculiarities of concluding international business agreements.
9. Intellectual property Protection in business logistics in Lithuania, the European Union and the World.
10. Employment of foreigners in Lithuania.
11. Requirements and procedures for employing persons from third countries.
12. Dispute Resolution Procedure in Lithuania and EU Member States.

1. The importance of international business law in international conditions is described / reasoned, the components of international business law are defined, the main Lithuanian legal acts related to the promotion of international investment in business logistics.
2. Business opportunities and establishment procedures in business logistics in different EU countries are analysed. And the influence of economic diplomacy on in business logistics.
