Description
1. A student correctly pronounces the sounds of the Danish language.
2. A student knows and correctly uses grammatical structures and lexical units corresponding to level A1.
3. A student is able to communicates in Danish with sufficient regularity, fluency, and coherence in simple situations.
4. A student is able to write everyday colloquial texts correctly.
5. A student is able to read and understand texts of informal style with the help of a dictionary.
6. A student is able to listen to and understand uncomplicated audio recordings.
Aim of the course
To develop Danish general competences, communicative language competences (linguistic (grammar, pronunciation, vocabulary, orthography), sociolinguistic and pragmatic and communicative language activities: production, interaction and mediation (oral and written) at the lower level of beginners (A1).

3. Presenting one’s family.

Linguistic topics:
1. Pronunciation of vowels and consonants.
2. Intonation in the sentence.
3. Direct sentences. Interrogative sentences.
4. Answers. Short answers.
5. Word order in a sentence. Inversion in a sentence.
6. Personal pronouns.
7. Possessive pronouns.
8. Verb infinitive, present, past tenses. Forms of nouns (singular, plural; denoting, non-denoting form).
9. Cardinal and ordinal numbers.
10. Reflexive pronouns.
11. Forms of adjectives, their agreement.
Assesment Criteria
1. A student correctly pronounces the sounds of the Danish language.
2. A student is able to form direct and interrogative¬ sentences correctly; use inversion in a sentence properly;
3. A student is able to communicates in Danish with sufficient regularity, fluency, and coherence in simple situations.
4. A student is able to write simple colloquial texts correctly.
5. A student is able to read and understand texts in a simple style with the help of a dictionary.
6. A student is able to listen to and understand simple audio recordings.
