Creative Production Lab
Description
Creative Production Lab deepens and strengthens practical abilities, while developing communication products, that combine image, sound, spoken and written word. Creative production lab is the revealing of individual abilities and artistic powers of students through creative communication tasks for various organizations – from the University to practice company. Creative production lab teaches how to create persuasive stories, combining different means of expression, communication elements of advertising, public relations for different audiences.
Aim of the course
Introduce students to the principles of dramaturgy, art of the language of acting and stage, formats of video and audio podcasts and provide them with skills to initiate the content of creative communication for various organizations and thus to collect a portfolio of one’s author works.
Prerequisites
“Introduction to Visual Communication” , “Public Discourse“, “Fundamentals of Journalism’, “Public Speaking and Rhetoric’, “Art and Practice of Interview”, “Media and Popular Culture”, “Public Relations: The Principles of the Practice“, “Storytelling for Audiovisual Media“, “Contexts and Cultures of Public Communication”.
Course content

Assesment Criteria
1. A student understands, evaluates communication problems and is able to develop a content of public relations for an organization in accordance with at least half of the given criteria.
2. Students develop communication strategies for organizations to form a favourable image in accordance with at least half of the given criteria.
3. Students demonstrate abilities to develop a relevant and interesting content, publicly expressing their position in the community of the University and the general public in accordance with at least half of the given criteria.
4. Students demonstrate abilities to work in a team, to give feedback and constructive critics to each other, public spirit in the society in accordance with at least half of the given criteria.
5. Students demonstrate abilities to develop one creative project in the selected platform (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, etc.) on the topic of social responsibility in accordance with at least half of the given criteria.
