International Organizations
Description
The course is aimed at analyzing why do international organizations exist, and what are the roles of international organizations in contemporary international system. What role do they play in global governance? States in the anarchic international system are characterized as main actors, however since the end of World War II various international organizations have become more prominent players in the international system.

Analysis of historic context of emerging and developing international organizations
Exhaustiveness of analysis of particular international organization
Ability of comparing regional international organizations
Ability to explain universal nature of UN
Evaluating developments and activities of international organizations
Through particular cases, interpreting role and functions of international organizations in the international politics
