Research overview
The major involvement of the researchers‘ group of this cluster is interdisciplinary and comparative research of disintegration of communism, national liberation movements and post-communist transformations in Lithuania and East-Central Europe.
Members of the cluster are focusing their research on these areas:
- the processes of disintegration of the Soviet system;
- the functioning of culture under the conditions of occupation and independence;
- the change of collective identity and collective action;
- the formation of civic political culture;
- national liberation movements;
- the transformations of social mentality.
