Vytautas Magnus University is closely collaborating with various partners. Seeking cooperation, VMU encourages and develops relations with public institutions, including both Lithuanian and foreign high schools, gymnasiums, colleges, and universities around the world. Funds provided by sponsors are used for various community events, social projects, and scholarships supporting the most talented students.

Establishment of a nominal scholarship

Nominal scholarships for students of Vytautas Magnus University may be established by the University itself, by natural or legal persons in accordance with the procedure established by the University, thus contributing to the goals of the University, as well as to the personal or corporate interests to encourage or support students. A scholarship is an accepted and recognizable way in the academic community to encourage students to delve into specialized areas of study, research, artistic and sporting activities, or to support them in pursuit of social justice. We kindly invite VMU alumni and supporters of the University supporters to establish nominal scholarships at Vytautas Magnus university.

A nominal scholarship may be awarded to undergraduate, postgraduate, master’s, or doctoral students based on the wishes of an individual or a legal entity, which must be agreed upon with the University and must be in the mutual interest of encouraging or supporting students. Scholarships may be one-off or periodic, awarded several times per academic year or annually, and may be transferred and disbursed at the initiative of the University or a natural or legal person under a separate agreement.
