Orientation days are organised at the beginning of the semester and it will be your first student experience here in Kaunas. During this time, you will get to know VMU faculties, Lithuanian history and culture during the Survival Lithuanian courses, and our beautiful city Kaunas. You are also more than welcome to be a part of interesting events, where you will find new friends and will spend a fascinating and fun time.

Survival Lithuanian course introduces students to a very basic knowledge of Lithuanian that would help them to “survive” in Lithuania. In this intensive course, students will learn to introduce themselves, provide basic biographical information, ask for the prices while shopping, ask for directions, basic information about the university, order food, as well as other useful everyday phrases in Lithuanian.

Dear incoming international students,
Under the Orientation Days, we invite you to join the "Sharing is caring" event and benefit from the DON@ project activities.
During the Collection Days in December and January, former students left a lot of things they would like to pass to the newcomers:
· Kitchen stuff (from cup to the grater, etc.)
· Electronics (kettle, table lamps, etc.)
· Study and leisure time items (sports equipment, hobby stuff, stationery such as notebooks, paper, pens, holders, etc.)
· Household items (cleaning tools such as mops, brooms, washing powder; storage containers or boxes, buckets, mirrors, hangers for clothes)
We encourage you to attend the "Sharing is Caring" event, where you can discover various essential items and belongings to establish yourself successfully and transform your new living space into a second home.

When: Friday, January 26, from 15.00 to 17.00
