Security, Reliability and Risk Analysis Methods
Research overview
The main goal is to develop mathematical analysis methods of reliability, security, risk and their application in energy, industry, medicine and other areas. Also researchers aim to create the theoretical principles of energy security assessment, scientifically justify criteria for energy security, develop and improve assessment methodologies of the socio-economic, political and other consequences due to arising potential energy problems. Cluster members are concentrated on: system risk and reliability analysis, the asymptotic analysis of distributions of random variables sums, numerical methods for differential equations.
