VMU Academic Youth Science Association “Modusas”

VMU Academic Youth Science Association “Modusas” was established in 2005. Popularizing natural science and motivating the general society to learn more about it is the main focus of the organization. “Modusas” drives collaboration between students and young scientists, and takes part in improving teaching processes in the natural science faculty. Our organization regularly takes part in events popularizing science both within the university and outside it. Trips to various Lithuanian schools, trying to spark inspiration in school students are commonplace. We also organize open lecture cycles, give a hand in organizing science conferences as well as other various events. Currently, “Modusas” is a part of the “Co-Engage -Involving Citizens through Co-creation” Erasmus+ project, as well as two other, financed by Vytautas Magnus University.

Joining us would give you the opportunity to try our various experiments, learn to write articles and projects, take part in organizing events, create and lead educational programs. Of course, no organization would be complete without like-minded people to take the newfound challenges on!
