English Club
The English Club meets every Friday, sometimes at the university and other times in informal places such as cafés, or bars. Each meeting offers something new: members might watch movies or stand-up performances, listen to music, write poems, taste tea and dishes prepared by fellow students, play games, hold contests and discussions, or even produce theatre plays. The atmosphere is always lively and different every week, it gives everyone the chance to speak and experience new friendships.
The meetings are organized by Irem Altan, who is also a fellow English Philology student. The club has a friendly environment where students can practice speaking English and learn useful phrases for their professional, educational, and social lives. Anyone who wants to improve their English while having fun is warmly invited to join.
