Welcome to the Study Abroad opportunities at Vytautas Magnus University! Application Process

Before applying, make sure you meet the eligibility criteria for your chosen programme and note the application deadlines.

Deadlines:

  • for the autumn (Fall) semester and the full academic year - 1st of May;
  • for the spring semester -  1st of November.

Once you are accepted, you need to go through the VMU application process. To do that smoothly, please follow the instructions.

To apply for a Study Abroad opportunity:

  1. Prepare the required documents: Transcript of records, Proof of English proficiency, and a copy of Passport/ID.
  2. Choose the subjects from the list.
  3. Fill out and sign the Learning Agreement.
  4. Using prepared documents and information, fill out and submit the “Incoming-Application of Visiting Student (fee-paying)” application on https://epasirasymas.vdu.lt/;
  5. Get approval from the VMU Study Abroad coordinator.

Visa application

Non-EU or non-EFTA country citizens should apply for multiple-entry National visas (D). Please check the Visa Guide for more information.
