For admitted students

Registration at University 

  • ! Please check the VMU Orientation Days Program and arrive for registration on time mentioned for your faculty.  
  • If your arrival is later than the announced registration day, you will be notified of the registration date and time via email. 
  • Bring the required documentation (listed below) for the registration.

Documents which you must bring with you for studies at VMU:

1. Original High School / Bachelor / Master’s degree diploma and its supplement (Transcript of Records / Mark sheet). Documents must be provided original and translated into English, certified by a Notary, and approved by an Apostille (for citizens of countries acceding to the 1961 Hague Convention).

3. Police Clearance Certificate. A certificate from a competent authority of a foreign state where you lived for more than 6 months during the last 2 years before coming to the Republic of Lithuania. Police Clearance Certificates are documents issued by the competent authorities of the foreign countries in which you lived or are currently resident for the last 2 years before your arrival to Lithuania (except where you have lived abroad for less than 6 months within a 12-month period. This document must confirm that you were not convicted in the corresponding state and must be approved by an Apostille or be legalized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the country of issue.

4. If you are under 18 years old at the time you sign the Agreement of studies at Vytautas Magnus University, your parents must fill out and sign the consent. If you are Ukrainian, please fill out the document in the Ukrainian language  (Ukrainian part only). If you are a citizen of another country, please choose to fill out the document in English (English part only).

5. If you are under 18 years old at the time you start your studies at VMU, you must have the written consent of your parents, guardian, or other legal representative stating that they are giving you permission to live and study in the Republic of Lithuania. This document will be required to open a bank account and apply for a Temporary Residence Permit in the Migration Department.

6. Private Health Insurance with Emergency Medical Evacuation and Repatriation Coverage of a minimum of 10.000,00 EUR (check all requirements of private health insurance here).
