This section provides information on requirements for credentials by country.

If the requirement below indicates that the submitted document should be original and/or sent by the awarding institution directly to us, the process of academic recognition of your obtained qualification will only start once you submit the original paper document with fresh seals and signatures to our office and/or the documents from the awarding institution are received.

Secondary Education
If you are applying for a Bachelor’s degree: 

  1. High School Graduation Certificate (Diplomë e Maturës Shtetërore) legalized with an “Apostille”;
  2. Certificate of State Matriculation (Certifikatë Maturës Shtetërore) (4-5 exams passed) legalized with an “Apostille”.

Higher Education
If you are applying for a Master’s degree:

  1. Bachelor Diploma legalized with an “Apostille”.
  2. Bachelor Diploma Supplement/Academic Transcript legalized with an “Apostille”.

If you are applying for a Bachelor’s degree:

  1. Certificate of Secondary Education (Baccalauréat de lEnseignement Secondaire , الثانوي التعليم بكالوريا شهادة );
  2. Releve de Notes du Baccalaureat.

Higher Education
If you are applying for a Master’s degree:

  1. Bachelor Diploma (Licence);
  2. Academic Transcripts (relevé de notes).

Secondary Education
If you are applying for a Bachelor’s degree: 

  1. High School Graduation Certificate (Mijnakarg Yndhanur Krtoutian Attestat). Document must be provided in the original language and translated into English;
  2. Document of Unified State Examination Results (Единые госэкзамены) for admission to higher education institutions in Armenia. The results of the examination cannot be lower than the minimum satisfactory grade approved by the state.

If you have not taken these exams, you should notify us, then in order to study at VMU, you will be required to take VMU Skills and knowledge test.

  1. Bachelor Diploma.
  2. Bachelor Diploma Supplement.

Secondary Education
If you are applying for a Bachelor’s degree: 

  1. High School Diploma (Orta təhsil haqqżnda attestat).
  2. Official results of the State Examination for admission to higher education institutions in Azerbaijan organized by TQDK or DIM. Document must be provided in the original language and translated into English. The results of the examination cannot be lower than the minimum satisfactory grade approved by the state.

If you have not taken these exams, you should notify us, then in order to study at VMU, you will be required to take VMU Skills and knowledge test.

  2. Academic Transcript of the Higher Secondary Certificate attested by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ministry of Education in Bangladesh (original); 
  3. Secondary School Certificate attested by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ministry of Education in Bangladesh (original); 
  4. Academic Transcript of the Secondary School Certificate attested by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ministry of Education in Bangladesh (original); 
  5. OMPT exam is required  https://www.omptest.org/ .

Higher Education
If you are applying for a Master’s degree:

  1. Higher Secondary Certificate attested by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ministry of Education in Bangladesh (original);

  3. Secondary School Certificate attested by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ministry of Education in Bangladesh (original);

  5. Bachelor Diploma attested by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ministry of Education in Bangladesh (original);

  7.     Please note (!): An Official Academic Transcript is a document issued by the institution in an envelope which is duly stamped and sealed by the issuing institution.

  2. A letter issued by the school providing information on the results of the passed state school leaving examination.

  1. General Certificate of Education Ordinary Level (At least 4 exams passed with the grade C or higher);
  2. General Certificate of Education Advanced Level (At least 2 exams passed with the grade E or higher);
  3. The Official Statement of General Certificate of Education (ordinary and advanced levels) posted directly to Vytautas Magnus University, International Cooperation Department, K.Donelaičio g. 58, LT-44248 Kaunas, Lithuania by Cameroon General Certificate of Education (GCE) Board in a sealed and stamped envelope or e-mailed directly to recognition@vdu.lt from an official GCE Board e-mail address;
  4. Documents attesting to any periods of post-secondary education (if any);
  5. Additional VMU Skills and knowledge test may be required.

If you are applying for a Master’s degree:

  1. Original General Certificate of Education (ordinary and advanced levels);
  2. The Official Statement of General Certificate of Education (ordinary and advanced levels);
  3. Bachelor Diploma (Bachelor/Licence). Document must be provided in the original language and translated into English;
  4. Bachelor Diploma Supplement/Full Academic Transcript. Document must be provided in the original language and translated into English;

Secondary Education
If you are applying for a Bachelor’s degree: 

  1. Senior Secondary School Graduation Certificate issued jointly by the school and local department of education;
  2. Academic transcript for the last three years issued by the school; 
  3. Verification report in English for the Huikao or the new Academic Proficiency Test (Xueye Shuiping Ceshi/Kaoshi) results issued by CHESICC (www.chsi.com.cn/en/);
  4. Verification report in  English for the Chinese National University Entrance Examination (GaoKao) issued by CHESICC (www.chsi.com.cn/en/).

If you have not taken GaoKao exams, you should notify us, then in order to study at VMU, you will be required to take VMU Skills and knowledge test.

If you are applying for a Master’s degree:

  1. Degree Certificate;
  2. Graduation Certificate;
  3. Academic Transcript;
  4. Verification reports in English for the degree certificate issued by the China Academic Degrees & Graduate Education Development Centre (chsi.com.cn/en/).

  1. General Secondary Education Certificate (Thanawiyya al-A’aamaI) as issued in Arabic;
  2. Official General Secondary Education Certificate examination results (minimum score of 65%) issued in English by the Ministry of Education or Regional Governorate;
  3. Official General Secondary Education Certificate examination results completed after 12 years of education, indicating all the subjects and grades earned, issued in English and legalized by the Ministry of Education in Egypt and by the Lithuanian Embassy in Egypt https://eg.mfa.lt/en (original).

Higher Education
If you are applying for a Master’s degree:

  1. Bachelor Diploma;
  2. Bachelor Diploma Supplement/Full Academic Transcript. Document must be provided in the original language and translated into English and legalized by the Ministry of Education in Egypt and by the Lithuanian Embassy in Egypt https://eg.mfa.lt/en (original);

  2. Results of the Unified National Examinations (Ertiani Erovnuli Gamocdebi) from the National Testing and Assessment Center. The results of the examination cannot be lower than the minimum satisfactory grade approved by the state.

If you have not taken Unified National Examination, you should notify us, then in order to study at VMU, you will be required to take VMU Skills and knowledge test.

  1. WAEC Senior Secondary Certificate (please note that we do not accept certificates issued by third parties, such as schools);
  2. Result Checker Card’s serial number and pin code for us to be able to check your examination results online at https://ghana.waecdirect.org;
  3. Documents attesting post-secondary education of at least one academic year (Polytechnic/ University/ Institute);
  4. Additional VMU Skills and knowledge test is required.

  2. Official results of the state examination for admission (Pan-hellenic exams), which are listed in the certificate of access to higher education ΒΕΒΑΙΩΣΗ ΠΡΟΣΒΑΣΗΣ (Vevaiosi Prosvasis).

Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science (Except for Bachelor of Science (Honours)) do not grant access to Master’s level programmes at VMU. These qualifications focus on general education and are not research oriented.

  1. Leaving Certificate (provisional certificates are accepted only for current graduates).
    Applicants must have passed examinations in a minimum of six subjects: Two subjects must have a grade of D1 or higher at Higher level, and the remaining subjects require at least D3 at Ordinary level or E at Higher level (for qualifications awarded before 2017); Two subjects must have a grade of 5 or higher at Higher level, and the remaining subjects require at least 6 at Ordinary level or 7 at Higher level (for qualifications awarded after 2017).

  1. Certificate of Completion of Secondary School Studies (Teudat bagrut (תעודת בגרות);
  2. Results of the final state examination. At least 7 subjects passed with a total of at least 20 units including at least one subject of 5 units.

  3. A document issued by the school and providing information on the following:
    • detailed grades of final examination (grades by subjects);
    • marks obtained at the end of the last year of schooling (e.g., Pagella scolastica).

  1. High School Certificate of Graduation (高等学校 卒業証明書, kotogakko sotsugyoshomeisho);
  2. Transcript of results. An official academic transcript must be sent to VMU by the School in a sealed and stamped envelope;
  3. Results of the state examination for admission to higher education institutions (Center Test) (if any).

  1. Certificate of the General Secondary Education (Аттeстат жалпы орта білім туралы);
  2. Supplement to the Certificate of the General Secondary Education (Жалпы орта білім туралыаттeстатка косымша);
  3. Unified National Testing Results Certificate (Ұлттық бірыңғай тестілеу Сертификат) or Complex Testing of applicants Results Certificate (Кешенді тестілеу Сертификат). Please note, Ұлттық бірыңғай тестілеу/ Eдиноe национальноe тестированиe/ ЕНТ should have a minimal score which is 50 points from each subject.

  3. Document on Results of National Test (Жалпы республикалык тестирлөө/Общее тестирование) organized by Центр оценки в образовании и методов обучения. The results of the examination cannot be lower than the minimum satisfactory grade approved by the state.

  3. School Leaving Certificate;
  4. School Leaving Academic Transcript;
  5. Bachelor Diploma legalized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Nepal;
  6. Bachelor Diploma Supplement/Academic Transcript legalized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Nepal;

If you are applying for a Bachelor’s degree: 

  1. WAEC or NECO Senior School Certificate. Both sides of the document should be scanned in high quality and full colour. You must have at least 5 exams with grades not lower than C5. Please note that we do not accept certificates issued by third parties, such as schools;
  2. Scratch Card serial number and pin code for us to be able to check your examination results online. Your results must be available at waecdirect.org or www.mynecoexams.com/results;
  3. Documents attesting to any periods of post-secondary education (if any);
  4. Additional VMU Skills and knowledge test is required.

Higher Education
If you are applying for a Master’s degree:

  1. WAEC or NECO Senior School Certificate. Both sides of the document should be scanned in high quality and full colour. Please note that we do not accept certificates issued by third parties, such as schools;
