Prof. Ričardas Krikštolaitis Attended Energy Conference in Brussels
On 5-6 November, Prof. Ričardas Krikštolaitis, the head of VMU Dept. of Mathematics and Statistics, attended the international conference Central European Day of Energy 2018 (CEDE) organized in Brussels, the headquarters of the European Commission. The event was organized by Central Europe Energy Partners (CEEP) in cooperation with the DG Energy of the European Commission and partners, including VMU.

On the 12th of November, an agreement was signed in Tokyo with the new VMU partner – Ochanomizu University (お茶の水女子大学 Ochanomizu joshi daigaku).

Diplomat to Discuss Significance of Brexit to Lithuania and Europe
On Monday 12 November, 1 p.m., a public lecture 'Brexit and its significance to Lithuania and Europe' will be held at VMU Centre for Research and Studies (V. Putvinskio g. 23, Room 311) by Jurgita Germanavičienė, advisor of the European Union Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Lithuania.

Winter School for Cultural Historical Studies in Vienna
Students are invited to take part in univie: winter school for Cultural Historical Studies "The Discovery of Modernity - Vienna Around 1900", which will take place in Vienna on 1-15 February 2019. Application deadline is 30 November 2018.
