VMU held a Strategic Communication Workshop for Transform4Europe
VMU Transform4Europe team organized a Strategic Communication Workshop to discuss the ambitious goals of the Alliance and the ways to implement them. The workshop took place on November 19th and was attended by VMU academic and non-academic staff, Transform4Europe alliance coordinators and student representatives.

VMU Opened the Largest University Sports Center in the Country
The grand opening ceremony of the President Valdas Adamkus Sports Center, which presented the largest university sports complex in Lithuania adapted to various sports and needs, took place at Vytautas Magnus University on November 17. The sports center, which has opened its doors in the Akademija campus (Studentų g. 9A, Kaunas district), will provide more opportunities to train professional athletes and to increase the physical capacities and health of the university community.

VMU Welcomed New Partner: Wuyi University in China
Rugpjūčio 30 d. Vytauto Didžiojo universitete lankėsi atstovai iš Wuyi universiteto. Svečiai iš Kinijos susitiko su VDU Tarptautinių ryšių prorektore prof. Ineta Dabašinskiene, Humanitarinių ir Gamtos mokslų fakultetų dekanais, Tarptautinių ryšių departamento direktore.

VMU Baltic Summer University Welcomed Students from 30 Countries
In July, over a hundred students from around the world gather in Kaunas and Vilnius to deepen their knowledge of various fields or get acquainted with Lithuania: here, they not only attend lectures and practical seminars but also spend time with Lithuanian families, taste national dishes, sing local songs, watch Lithuanian movies, and travel around the country. These and many other activities are offered by Baltic Summer University.

VMU Held Staff Training Week for Employees of Partner Universities
On 29 April – 3 May, VMU organised the Erasmus+ Staff Training Week for employees of foreign partner universities.

International Visitors of Kaunas Were United by Common Goal
To most of us, summer is an opportunity to take a break from the studies or work. At Vytautas Magnus University (VMU), however, it is the time when students from various corners of the world come for a visit. They were brought here by the Baltic Summer University, a VMU project which continued for over a month and accumulated over 100 students from Europe and farther away: the USA, Australia, Hong Kong, Vietnam, China, Japan, Indonesia and other countries.
