Call for Presentations: International Symposium on Japonology within Asian Studies
The Centre for Asian Studies invites to participate at the International Symposium Japanology within Asian Studies in Lithuania: Historical Perspective and Present Situation, which will take place on 3-4 November in Kaunas. Its purpose is to present, discuss and evaluate the situation of Asian studies in Lithuania.
Communism and Ethnocultural Diversity in the Focus of Multidisciplinary Conference at VMU
On 28-30 August, Vytautas Magnus University will host the international multidisciplinary conference Adjusting to Europe: Institutional Legacies of Communism and Ethnocultural Diversity, organised together with the European Centre for Minority Issues (Germany) and Friedrich Ebert Stiftung (Baltic Office).
Admission to PhD Studies at VMU is Announced
Vytautas Magnus University together with partners has announced the admission to PhD studies in 18 scientific fields. Applications for admission to PhD studies can be sent from 18 July to 5 September.
VMU Summer School Discussed Russian-European Relationship
The 11th Summer School of Baltic Practice 2011 was held in Kaunas on 31 July – 7 August. The conference was organized by VMU Faculty of Political Sciences and Diplomacy and the National Research University – Higher School of Economics (Russia).
