UN Officer to Hold Public Lecture About Refugees

Ambasador of Romania Dan Adrian Balanescu Will Hold Lecture at VMU
On Monday 5 November, 1 p.m., a public lecture will be held at VMU Centre for Research and Studies (V. Putvinskio g. 23, Room 311) by Dan Adrian Balanescu, the Ambassador of Romania to the Republic of Lithuania and the Republic of Latvia.

VMU Hosted Annual UNESCO Media and Information Literacy Conference
For the first time in the Baltic States and the Northern Europe, the Feature Conference of Global Media and Information Literacy Week was held at VMU in Kaunas, Lithuania on 24-25 October. The event, the 8th Media and Information Literacy and Intercultural Dialogue (MILID) Conference, welcomed about 300 participants from all over the world, including leading experts from the USA, France, Great Britain, and other countries.

World-Renowned Innovator David Gluckman to Hold Seminar at VMU
On Friday 16 November, 4 p.m., a seminar entitled "No Nonsense Innovation – Why Simple Ideas are Often the Hardest and the Best (with Case Studies)" will be held at VMU Centre for Research and Studies (V. Putvinskio g. 23, Room 106) by world-renowned business innovator David Gluckman.

Adelphi University Prof. Carol S. Cohen to Hold Lecture at VMU
On Thursday 18 October, 8.45 a.m., Prof. Carol S. Cohen from Adelphi University (New York, USA) will hold a public lecture-seminar at VMU Faculty of Social Science (Jonavos g. 66, Room 325, Kaunas). The title of the leture is Journey to Social Work.

VMU to Host Baltic Biophysics Conference
On 4-5 October, VMU will host the international Baltic Biophysics Conference organized by the Lithuanian Biophysical Society. The conference will be held at VMU Small Hall (28 S. Daukanto str., Kaunas).
