This COREnet training school aims to provide early career researchers (PhDs, postdocs and researchers up to 40 years old) with the opportunity to deepen their understanding of migration and religious diversity field and highlight research and practice-based knowledge from international trainers in order to present best practice to international trainees and to increase the knowledge in the field as well as to learn how to apply it in preparation of practice-oriented research.

Vytautas Magnus University (VMU) one of the participants of the Erasmus+ CBHE Project “Role of Universities in the Regional Development” (RURD), hosted the meeting on March 13-16, 2022. At the meeting representatives of Regional Universities overviewed the ongoing phase of the Project, presented reports on the decisions made regarding update of university Strategic Plan, on the training process, LLL courses, discussed ongoing and future activities and university-municipality cooperation questions. Throughout the meeting presentations by various departments, organisations, institutions, and their activities, delegation visited various facilities of the University, the Academy campus.

Invitation to Participate in a Digital Film Contest “100 Words”

To commemorate the centenary of the University of Lithuania, VMU Institute of Foreign Languages invites students studying languages at A1-B1 levels to participate in a digital film contest "100 Words". Students are invited to compete by selecting and interacting with words as creatively and ingeniously as possible. It may be a film of a 100 most frequently uttered baby words, maybe it will be 100 synonyms to describe future students, or a 100 borrowings from Italian cuisine, or maybe the next 100 of technical innovations in multiple languages?

VMU Community is Invited to help Ukraine by Weaving Camouflage Nets

THE INITIATIVE HAS BEEN SUSPENDED. VMU organisation T.L.S. Korp!Neo-Lithuania, in cooperation with “Praeities žvalgas” and an initiative group in Vilnius, have joined the idea to help weave camouflage nets, which will later be sent to Ukraine to the soldiers fighting there.

VMU Student Surveys Results on the Quality of Teaching and Learning

At the end of each semester, students of Vytautas Magnus University (VMU) bachelor, master, integrated and professional studies express their opinion on the quality of teaching and learning of the studied courses. The survey is conducted online. Students are provided with separate questionnaires about different teachers of study courses (except for internships, coursework, research, and final theses). During the survey, students also evaluate their own activity in the study process – learning and completing tasks.
