For students: Studies and Traineeships Abroad
Students who would like to get more information about studies and traineeship’s abroad are invited to participate in the presentation of international exchange possibilities on September 18th (Tuesday), 3:00 p.m. Event will take place in VMU Small Hall, address S. Daukanto g. 28, Kaunas. Preliminary duration of the event – 1 hour.
Invitation to attend Japanese Speech Contest
On the 24th of September Vytautas Magnus University’s Center for Asian Studies alongside the Komaru–Koutsu foundation and Hiroshima University Lithuanian center invites you to participate in the Japanese speech contest. The contest starts 12:30 PM at VMU Aula Magna (Gimnazijos str. 7, Kaunas).
U.S. Sociologist Paul Draus to Hold Lectures at VMU
On 2–4 October, VMU will host public lectures by sociologist and ethnographic researcher Paul Draus from the University of Michigan-Dearborn. The lectures are organized by VMU Dept. of Sociology (66 Jonavos g., Kaunas).
Hong Kong: Great Potential for Study and Research Exchange
On 5 September, VMU was visited by a delegation from Lingnan University (Hong Kong). During the visit, the guests got acquainted with the VMU Research and Study Centre and met with VMU Rector Prof. Juozas Augutis, Vice-Rector for International Relations Prof. Ineta Dabašinskienė, and the team of the International Cooperation Department. Both VMU and Lingnan University organize studies based on the model of liberal arts.
29th EAJRS Conference in Kaunas
On September 12-15, 2018 VMU Centre for Asian studies together with the Global Japan Office invites you not to miss the 29th international EAJRS (European Association of Japanese Recourse Specialists) conference. This year the topic is “(G)localizing Japanese Studies Resources”.
