25 Percent Accommodation Fee Reduction Will be Granted
In accordance with the decisions of a working group which was established to address relevant issues in the VMU dormitories during the nationwide quarantine announced by the Government of Lithuania, the Rector has decided to reduce negative consequences of the quarantine situation for the students.

EQ-Thinking Model – Giving Curricula an Innovative Touch
The Centre for Enterprise Practice (CEP) as a public institution was established in 2014 by Vytautas Magnus University. VMU Scientists Created a Tool for Predictions of Coronavirus Spread
The number of infected people in Lithuania could exceed 3,000, while the spread of the virus will only be contained if quarantine restrictions are not significantly loosened for at least two more months. This is indicated by a new interactive mathematical model: a tool which can be used to conduct analysis and make decisions related to COVID-19. The model was created by researchers from Vytautas Magnus University (VMU): Prof. Juozas Augutis from the Dept. of Mathematics and Statistics, who is also the university’s rector, and PhD student Justinas Dainauskas from the Dept. of Applied Informatics.

During this period, we have been not only learning to adapt to the new routines but also working to ensure continuous processes of studies and research: this has required a great deal of physical, mental, and psychological effort. It brings us pleasure to announce that today, on 27 March, VMU has signed a cooperation agreement with one of the most prestigious international organizations in the world – Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD).
