Changes of the working hours and service conditions in the Library from October 28.

During the spread of COVID 19 virus, the library asks to protect themselves and others, and follow safety recommendations.

It is compulsory in the Library:

  • Wear face mask;
  • Wear gloves when working with library equipment and books;
  • Disinfect your hands;
  • Maintain a distance of at least 2 m;
  • Follow cough and sneeze etiquette;
  • It is forbidden to come to the Library if you have fever or other cold symptoms or you are in self-isolation.

Additional conditions:

  • The library services only members of the University community who register upon entry (external visitors are serviced only for individual publications stored in the library and only after pre-registration);
  • If there’s large number of visitors, the library may limit the flow of visitors and their working hours in the library;
  • Returned items are lent to another reader the day after the item quarantine.

Remote services

The library provides remote services, gives consultations by e-mail, telephones.

Remote services.  For studies and research, we invite you to use one-stop-shop search in the Library website in various resources (University Library catalogue, virtual library, subscribed databases, research management system (VMU CRIS), Lithuanian Academic e-Library (eLABa) and global academic open access resources). If you want to read licensed resources, log in remotely (enter University e-mail credentials (username: first name, last name; password: e-mail password)). With the remote access service, you can individually connect to more than 58 subscribed databases. We also recommend using the virtual cultural heritage epaveldas.lt and the interactive library portals ibiblioteka.
