Describe how you value your experience abroad.

My memories are filled with great experiences. Two of my professors use some teaching techniques I was not so familiar with before and I find them very useful (for example: having written essays almost every week instead of tests, open discussions, and debates). Also, I am relieved to say that my language barrier, since I do not know how to speak Korean, did not have any negative effect on my experience. However, this trip is costly. Because of that, I am very thankful for my home university and PNU scholarships.

What surprised you the most in the beginning?

I was really surprised by how kindly PNU’s staff and teachers treated me and my other foreign friends. I am also overwhelmed by Koreas people’s culture related to dancing, singing, and eating. At first sight, everyone looks so joyous here.

Describe study quality abroad and its differences from Vytautas Magnus University.

I have a few PNU university teachers that require more work from students (it is very useful for students who are struggling to prepare for every lesson of their own will). However, the quality of professionalism is very similar. Also, both universities do not look down on their students and try to communicate with them as being friends.

How well did you feel integrated abroad?

Very well! It took me only a couple of days to figure out how things work here. People are always willing to help, as well.
