The second meeting of the COREnet Management Committee and Working Groups took place in Kaunas, Lithuania, on 27–28 June, and was the first live meeting of both the Management Committee and Working Groups. For three days, COREnet members – researchers on religion and migration – presented the work done so far in the first year of the Action and discussed the next steps.

The symposium is being held to commemorate the centenary of the University of Lithuania. Scholarship of S. Banaitis Awarded for Researching Eastern Cultures

Greta Dirsė, a student of the master’s in History of the Central Eastern European Region and Lithuania at the Faculty of Humanities of Vytautas Magnus University (VMU), has been awarded the fifth nominal scholarship of 2329,48€, established by the signatory of the Act of Independence of the Republic of Lithuania, Mr. Saliamonas Banaitis.

At the end of each semester, the VMU conducts a survey "Teaching and Learning Evaluation". The aim of the survey is to find out about students‘ experiences, to learn their opinions about teachers and their own work in the study courses, and to evaluate students‘ suggestions and feedback. This relevant feedback information helps to respond in a timely manner and make decisions on how to improve the quality of studies and develop a culture of respectful cooperation, creating an inclusive study environment.
