It seems like only yesterday that Vytautas Magnus University (VMU) welcomed it so warmly, and today it is already celebrating its second anniversary. But these two years have been filled with so many events and achievements that they could span decades,” said Ukraine’s First Lady Olena Zelenska on June 29th, congratulating the Centre of Ukraine at VMU on its second anniversary.

In the latest QS Europe University Rankings, Vytautas Magnus University (VMU) has again demonstrated strong results: rising from 284th to 267th place in the overall rankings, and from 105th to 99th place in Northern Europe. A total of 685 higher education institutions across Europe were evaluated.

Now, professors from those same schools come to our Academy to teach master classes to our top students. On the occasion of July 6th – Statehood Day (coronation of King Mindaugas of Lithuania) and National Anthem Day – the President of the Republic of Lithuania, Gitanas Nausėda, awarded state orders and medals to Lithuanian and foreign nationals for their merits to the Republic of Lithuania and for promoting its name worldwide. Among the awardees was Vytautas Magnus University (VMU) Faculty of Arts Professor Vytautas Levandauskas, an architectural historian and art historian.
