VMU Community’s Christmas

The centennial of the University of Lithuania has brought us many beautiful opportunities to spend time and celebrate together. This has been a very special year, and I invite everyone to come together on 22 December 2022 to celebrate the upcoming holidays and our common achievements, to enjoy a concert by the VMU Chamber Orchestra and, most importantly, to spend time together. After all, Christmas is special when we celebrate it together.

On December 8, 6 p.m. VMU Student Representative Council invites the entire university community to celebrate the upcoming holidays together, chat with each other, take part in the most Christmassy activities and, of course, light the VMU Christmas tree.

Svetlana Alexievich to be awarded VMU Honorary Doctorate

On Wednesday, 21 September, at 2 p.m., during the solemn meeting of the Senate of Vytautas Magnus University which will take place at VMU Aula Magna (Gimnazijos g. 7, Kaunas), Svetlana Alexievich, the winner of the Nobel Prize in Literature, will be awarded the regalia of VMU Honorary Doctor.
