Registration for sports and arts activities has started
We invite students of Vytautas Magnus university, who are studying in Kaunas, to register for sports and (or) arts activities of Autumn semester 2018/2019, organized by VMU Sports Centre and VMU Arts Centre. All of activities are free of charge for the students of VMU.

In order to promote innovative teacher education in Lithuania, VMU is joining forces with other Lithuanian universities and the leading institutions in Ireland and Iceland. Political Earthquakes and Tsunamis Ahead
Virtually no day passes without some shocking news. I am not referring to military conflicts, and natural disasters, including climate change, of which there is an abundance. I am referring to a completely new and dangerous phenomenon: the rise of mostly right-wing populist politics based on unfounded or unproven claims, distortions and outright lies.
International Visitors of Kaunas Were United by Common Goal
To most of us, summer is an opportunity to take a break from the studies or work. At Vytautas Magnus University (VMU), however, it is the time when students from various corners of the world come for a visit. They were brought here by the Baltic Summer University, a VMU project which continued for over a month and accumulated over 100 students from Europe and farther away: the USA, Australia, Hong Kong, Vietnam, China, Japan, Indonesia and other countries.
VMU Signed Cooperation Agreement with Korea University
The most international university in Lithuania, VMU, is expanding its relations with Asian education institutions: at the end of July, VMU signed a cooperation agreement with Korea University, which is not only one of the leaders nationally but also among the top 100 universities of the world. The visiting delegation from South Korea met with VMU representatives and discussed student and teacher exchange, joint study programmes, and cooperation in research projects.
