Short description of the project
VMU Centre for Vocational Education and Research participates in the EU LLP transfer of innovations project EQF meets ECVET. Modularisation and Recognition of basic VET via ECVET and EQF.
The project, which involves the European Qualifications Framework (EQF) and the European Credit System for Vocational Education and Training (ECVET), wants to offer a new model for recognition of all learning to ease access to and progress in Vocational Education and Training (VET), especially for disadvantaged learners. Recognition of VET units also gives value to learned qualification parts, transparently showing the trainees’ learning outcomes, and supports these learners to enter the labour market and lifelong learning.
