Vice-Rector of VMU meet with TUFS Students

On Wednesday 21^st June 2017, Prof. Ineta Dabašinskienė, Vice-Rector for International Relations at Vytautas Magnus University, Lithuania, gave a lecture on Lithuanian language and culture to TUFS students studying Lithuanian and students preparing to study abroad at Vytautas Magnus University.

Vytautas Magnus University and TUFS became partner institutions in March 2017, and at the same time TUFS established its 12^th Global Japan Office in the university’s Centre for Asian Research.

Prior to meeting with the students, Prof. Ineta Dabašinskienė paid a visit to President Tateishi. Kayoko Hayashi, Executive Director / Vice President, and Sakurai Eiko, Lecturer (Lithuanian language), also joined the meeting to discuss the development of the collaborative relationship between the two universities, including the exchange of students and researchers.

2017年6月21日（水）、ヴィータウタス・マグヌス大学（リトアニア）のイネタ・ダバシンスキエネ副学長がリトアニアの言語と文化をテーマに講演し、同大学への留学を控えた学生や、本学でリトアニア語を学習する学生などが参加しました。

ヴィータウタス・マグヌス大学と本学は、2017年3月に国際学術交流協定に調印し、同時に本学では12番目となるGlobal Japan Officeを同大学アジア研究センター内に設置しました。

交流会に先立ち、ダバシンスキエネ副学長は立石博高学長を表敬訪問しました。懇談には、林佳世子理事・副学長や沼野恭子教授（大学院総合国際学研究院、ロシア文学）および櫻井映子講師（リトアニア語）も同席し、学生・研究者交流を含めた両大学の協力関係の発展について話し合いました。
