Vytautas Magnus University (VMU) is hosting an international Erasmus+ BIP event aimed at fostering quality culture in higher education. Organized by the Study Quality Unit, the event titled Fostering Quality Culture in HEI will bring together professionals from various European institutions to explore and advance quality assurance (QA) practices in higher education.

This event is designed to enhance quality culture practices and strengthen connections among colleagues working in the field of quality assurance. The event will focus on analyzing current practices in higher education institutions (HEIs) and identifying strategies to further improve them, with a particular emphasis on best practices, key milestones, and strategic approaches for fostering excellence in HEIs.

The first step of the event kicked off with an online meeting held on March 20, 2025. This virtual gathering allowed participants to connect, introduce themselves, and set the stage for the upcoming in-person meetings in Kaunas.

The main event in Kaunas will take place from April 7 to April 11, 2025. Over the course of the week, participants will have the opportunity to engage in thematic seminars, share experiences from their respective institutions, and discuss strategies for enhancing quality culture in higher education. In addition to these professional activities, the event will also include a cultural excursion to Vilnius, where participants will visit another Lithuanian university and experience the cultural highlights of the Lithuanian capital.

Through this international event, VMU aims to provide valuable insights and contribute to the ongoing dialogue surrounding quality assurance in higher education, while fostering meaningful collaborations among European peers.
