T4EU Online Seminars on Open Science and Inclusion

On 22nd and 23rd May, universities of Primorska and Trieste invite the communities of VMU and other member universities of the Transform4Europe Alliane to watch seminars online. The seminars will be dedicated to the topics of open science and inclusion.

On Wednesday 22 May, 2.30–5 p.m., seminar “Open Science, FAIR data and Creative Commons” will be held, where various experts in open science will talk about it in different lectures:

  • 14:30-15:00: Prof. Rūta Petrauskaitė: From Open Access to Open Science
  • 15:00-16:00: Dr. Ana Slavec: Research Data Management in line with FAIR principles
  • 16:15-16:45: Prof. Michael Mrissa: Open Code and Creative Commons (hands-on session)

On Thursday 23 May, 2–4 p.m., seminar and first social inclusion event “Bridging Communities: Dialogue and Action for Inclusive Futures” will be held. The event will feature a Keynote Speech by Prof. Dr. Vlado Kotnik from UP FHŠ on “Diverse, Equal/Fair and Inclusive University: Between Branding and Living” and a roundtable with five extraordinary panellists with their own presentations on inclusion, challenges and solutions from various perspectives.
