T4E Lectures on Quantum Computing and Intercultural Competence

What is quantum computing and why is it fascinating? What are innovative ways to develop intercultural competences today? These and other questions will be answered at two public lectures in English which will be held on 9th and 11th of May at Saarland University and online. The Open Dual Lectures series are organised by the European university alliance Transform4Europe.

The lecture will take place on Tuesday 9 May, 6 p.m. (Lithuania time, EEST), at Saarland University (Germany) and online. It will be held by Prof. Moritz Weber, Heisenberg Professor of Mathematics at Saarland University, and Anurag Saha Roy, Chief Product Officer at Qruise GmbH. They will give us insights into the world of quantum computing and in particular discuss the software aspects of this fascinating field.
Promoting Intercultural Competence through Innovative Learning Technologies
The lecture will take place on Thursday 11 May, 6 p.m. (Lithuania time, EEST), at Saarland University (Germany) and online. It will be held by Professor Michael Byram, an internationally renowned expert in intercultural competence and language teaching research, and Amir Baradaran, founder of CLT Creative Learning Technologies GmbH. In the event, the two experts will present innovative learning methods and technologies aimed at promoting intercultural competencies and supporting language learning.
