Student Conference “Freedom to Create 2022”

On the occasion of the centennial of the founding of the University of Lithuania and the anniversary of the re-establishment of VMU, we invite you to a student conference “Freedom to Create 2022”, which will take place on April 29. At the conference, VMU students will present their scientific, artistic, and creative achievements to the university and the city, thus leaving an imprint in the century-long history of the university.

At the conference, you will hear more than 40 presentations from students in different study fields, covering ecology, art, artificial intelligence, education, health, and many other relevant topics critically evaluated and examined from a variety of perspectives.

The conference will begin at 9 a.m. with a plenary session and from 10.15 a.m. presentations will be available in five parallel sections, one of which will be held in English only. There will also be poster presentations and exhibitions available, and the conference will be closed by an artistic performance “Resistance Narratives” by the creative group “Declamationes.”

The conference will take place at the VMU Multifunctional Center for Research and Studies (V. Putvinskio g. 23) from 9 a.m.
