Season’s Greetings to VMU Community from the Rector

478

Dear All,

The great holidays of the year, which mark the symbolic joining of ends and beginnings, allow us to stop and think. To appreciate: to thank each other for the companionship, to remember and rejoice in the mosaic of events, and to rethink the challenges that have arisen and solutions to overcoming them.  This year has not been easy, but solidarity and unity work miracles. I want to thank every member of the community of Vytautas Magnus University for being together with us! I thank you not only for the work you have done, but also for the invaluable bond you are creating, which allows us to feel stronger and happier in the uncertainties of everyday life.

I sincerely wish that the next chapter, beginning with new aspirations and ideas, will be bright. Wishing you and your loved ones great success and inner peace.

As we wait for the most beautiful holidays of the year, let’s dive into the bright world of the sounds of music and listen to the gift by the Vytautas Magnus University Chamber Orchestra, which is celebrating its 10th anniversary: the Opera Gala concert (the orchestra’s guests are soprano Margarita Levchuk (Belarus) and tenor Tomas Pavilionis. The Principal Conductor is Vytautas Lukočius).

Happy and Hopeful Holidays!

VMU Rector Juozas Augutis
