“Romania is good choice for studies and exploring new culture as well”

Tamari Ivanidze, VMU alumna (Education Management programme, 2020 – 2022) // Erasmus+ recent graduate traineeship in Romania, Babes-Bolyai University (BBU)
I am Tamari Ivanidze from Georgia. I studied MA in Educational Management at Vytautas Magnus University. After I graduated from the university, I decided to deepen my knowledge, improve my professional skills, and gain cultural experience through the internship program at Babes-Bolyai University.
UBB is the oldest university in Romania and has a long history of education research and serving local/international communities. Babes-Bolyai University has a distinguished faculty of psychology and educational sciences, offering students academic programs to prepare future teachers and educator leaders. My Romanian friend told me that the UBB program of educational science would be a direct opportunity to promote my professional development. With the guidance of my host supervisor, I was writing feedback for students and working on curriculum improvement.
The university is in the region of Transylvania, host to numerous beautiful cities that I had the fortune of visiting and exploring during my internship. Reflecting the history of the region, Babes-Bolyai University became a model of multiculturalism with three lines of study (Romanian, Hungarian, and German) offering full-time programs in different languages including English. Therefore, during my internship, I have raised my cultural awareness and explored Romanian cultural places.
I would recommend Babes-Bolyai University to recent students and future graduates to improve their professional skills.
