Prof. Ephrat Huss to Hold Workshop on Using Art in Shared Reality Groups

37

On Monday 20 October, at 5–7 p.m., interactive workshop titled ‘Using Art in Shared Reality Groups to Cope with Long-Term Social Stress’ will be held at VMU Faculty of Social Sciences (66 Jonavos g., Room 108, Kaunas) by social work professor Ephrat Huss.

This interactive workshop will demonstrate how the arts can strengthen coping in shared reality groups during ongoing social crises. Building on Aaron Antonovsky’s concept of coping, we will focus on how creative expression helps people self-define their stress and resources as an ongoing process within a shared reality group.

Workshop would be delivered by famous social work professor Ephrat Huss, who specializes in the use of art in social work.

Professor Ephrat Huss has published six books and many articles on the subject of arts-based methods in social work research and practice.
