“It was a great opportunity for me and my future career path”

Elnara Nazarova, full-time Master student of Education Management at VMU // Erasmus studies in Würzburg, Germany
For my third semester, I decided to join the Erasmus family and applied for one-semester exchange studies at the Julius Maximilians University of Würzburg in Würzburg, a beautiful German city. I had a strong passion and interest toward Germany, german language and of course the German education system. Therefore, it was a great opportunity for me and my future career path to be able to experience being an Erasmus student in Germany.
Everything passed very smoothly and I had an amazing journey during one semester. Würzburg is a very beautiful city in the region of Franconia, northern Bavaria, Germany. It is located on the beautiful Main River. The city is famous throughout Germany for its wine and as the northern end of the Romantic Road.
The International Department of the University organized many interesting events for the Erasmus Exchange students: 3 day trip to Berlin, day trips to different german cities like Bamberg, Frankfurt, Nurenberg, many game nights, Erasmus parties, International Dinner Parties and so on. If you come to Wurzburg, the first thing to do is go to Alte-Main Brucke (Old Main Bridge), buy a glass of local white wine and enjoy the view of Festung Marienberg castle up the hill, Main River flowing under the bridge, wine yards and fresh Bavarian air. This is the most favourite activity of locals, tourists, international students. Every night they gather on the bridge and chat while drinking a glass of delicious Wurzburg wine.
I am grateful for this opportunity to Vytautas Magnus University, Erasmus Community that enable us to have such an amazing experience in our dream places.
