Competition for Erasmus+ Virtual Teaching Visits

The purpose of the virtual Erasmus+ teaching visit is to give lectures remotely to students from Erasmus partner universities in order to strengthen international relations and present VMU as a possible Erasmus+ exchange destination for students, lecturers and other staff.

All teachers who want to participate in the competition are welcome to submit their filled-in and agreed teaching agreement to erasmus@vdu.lt. The agreement form must be submitted until 8th of October, 2020.

Requirements

  • Teaching at an Erasmus+ partner university
  • Presentation of VMU
  • At least 8 teaching hours (within 5 working days)
  • Duration of the visit: from 2 to 10 working days in the Programme’s countries (EU and EEA countries); from 5 to 10 working days in the Partner countries (other than EU/EEA countries)
  • Described added value of the visit for the lecturer, students, and the hosting and sending institution
  • The visit is implemented by November 22, 2020.

The selected lecturers receive a one-off salary supplement of 250.00 EUR (including staff taxes) for a successfully implemented Erasmus+ virtual teaching visit. Selection will be carried out based on the teaching agreement. In total, 30 virtual teaching visits will be approved and granted.

The results of the selection will be announced on October 9th. Each lecturer who participated in the selection will be informed by e-mail.
