    VMU is Continuing and Expanding Its Support for Ukrainians
Since the start of war in Ukraine, Vytautas Magnus University has been actively involved in various support initiatives and activities for Ukrainians. The university offers possibilities to start or continue studies, provides support on accommodation or scholarships and free Lithuanian language courses for Ukrainians who have fled the war. Moreover, it has hosted a tandem language-learning event whose participants exchanged knowledge of Lithuanian and Ukrainian languages, while the VMU Education Academy has established the Ukrainian Centre, the first one of its kind in the world, where various cultural and educational activities are organised for the Ukrainian community.
    VMU to organize Transform4Europe Conference
We kindly invite you to the first Transform4Europe Alliance's international conference-hackathon "Transform4Europe International Conference-Hackathon for the Innovative Teaching and Learning Methods in Higher Education (INNO-METHODS)". The conference, which will take place on 24-27 October 2022 at Vytautas Magnus University, is dedicated to the analysis of innovative teaching and learning methods in higher education.
    French language course for VMU students
VMU students can participate in a multicultural French language course with students from all over Europe. The course is free of charge.
    Join the Transform4Europe Student Ambassador Programme
Vytautas Magnus University invites students not only to expand their horizons, make new friends and share knowledge about the university itself but also to become official ambassadors of incoming students from Transform4Europe programme partner institutions.
    The delegation of Mariupol State University visited VMU
From 1 June to 9 June 2022 the delegation of Mariupol State University represented by Vice-Rector for Research and Teaching (International Relations), Professor Olena Pavlenko, Dean of the Faculty of Foreign Languages, Associate Professor Hanna Trifonova, Associate Professor of the Department of Economics and International Economic Relations Olga Bezzubchenko visited Vytautas Magnus University in Kaunas (Lithuania).
    Summer School on Researching Migration and Religion took place at VMU
The COST Action COREnet Training School took place from 29 June to 3 July on the theme "Research on Migration and Religious Diversity: Theories, Methods and Practices".
