Call for Applications for Julie Johnson Kidd Fellowship 2023
The Julie Johnson Kidd Travel Research Fellowships aim to support faculty engaged in the Liberal Arts and Sciences in advancing this educational model. They have as their goal to promote collaboration between LAS programs and between LAS programs and non-LAS programs. Funding is available preferably for (1) collaborations between staff members of different LAS programs in two different countries but could be also for (2) collaborations between staff members of LAS programs and other programs that aim to introduce features of LAS education in non-LAS contexts.
Competition for the Scholarship of S. Banaitis
Saliamonas Banaitis scholarship was established at the University in 2016 to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the restoration of Lithuanian statehood by his grandchildren living in Canada. The aim of the scholarship is to support and encourage the most talented students at the University conducting research related to personalities, organisations, events or processes of the First Independent Republic of Lithuania (1918-1940), which in one way or another are connected with the activities and environment of the signatory of the Act, S. Banaitis.
