CANCELLED visit of the President of the Republic of Sakartvelo
The President of the Republic of Sakartvelo, Salome Zourabichvili, who was scheduled to visit Vytautas Magnus University on 4 April, cancelled her visit to Kaunas due to the tight agenda of her official visit to Lithuania.
T4EU Mobility Week Brought Excitement and Bustle to Kaunas
On 20-24 March, VMU and Kaunas once again bustled with the spirit of the European university, as a sizeable academic crowd from all over the world has come to visit us. The Transform4Europe Mobility Week organised by Vytautas Magnus University brought a lot of excitement with a variety of activities including tours, film screenings, creative workshops, and discussions.
VMU Extends a Helping Hand to Ukraine: Everyone is Welcome to Donate
VMU, continuing the initiative dedicated to the support of Eastern Partnership countries, has extended a helping hand to the Ukrainians. In 2020, VMU established a support fund dedicated to students who suffered from repression by the Belarusian government. Now, this fund will also support students who suffered from military operations in Ukraine. The university is also prepared to welcome students and lecturers who are fleeing from war in Ukraine. Like other higher education schools in Lithuania, VMU has terminated relations with higher education institutions of Russia and Belarus.
VMU Invites You to a Student Conference “Freedom to Create 2023”
VMU invites you to participate in a student conference “Freedom to Create 2023” which will be held on April 28th, 2023. The conference will address the international Sustainable Development Goals set by the United Nations (UN). The conference will take place at the VMU Multifunctional Science and Studies Centre (V. Putvinskio g. 23, Kaunas).
VMU Career Centre invites to Remote Informal Lecture Series
As every year, the Career Centre of Vytautas Magnus University (VMU) invites students and graduates to take part in the remote informal lecture series “Savęs link ’23” in March and April, as well as to participate in presentations, and discussions and to actively use the Virtual CV Clinic.
Additional Competition for International Studies and Internships
VMU International Cooperation Department invites all university students to use the opportunities to go abroad for study exchange or internship.
