On 3–5 May, a visit of an international team of experts of the Centre for Quality Assessment in Higher Education (SKVC) will take place at Vytautas Magnus University (VMU). The expert group composed by SKVC will assess the performance of VMU.
Ambassador of Kingdom of Netherlands Will Discuss Human Rights at VMU

Guidelines on prevention of harassment and anti-gender violence at VMU
On the 8th of February, 2023, the VMU Senate approved an important organizational document – The Description of procedure for prevention of sexual harassment and gender-based violence at Vytautas Magnus University. This document is an integral part of the university’s equal opportunities policies detailed in the VMU Strategic Plan for 2021-2027 and the Gender Equality Plan 2021-2025. Together, these important strategic documents mark the University's commitment to community cohesion and synergy, valuing the diversity of the community and the personal autonomy of its members, ensuring equal opportunities and non-discrimination, and highlighting the importance of dignity, respect and human rights.
Professional Development Activities for VMU Staff in May
VMU Professional Competence Development Centre team invites you to actively participate in professional development activities organised in May for academic and non-academic staff and students. Training topics range from English language training and research data management to business idea generation workshop and home exercise. We also encourage the University community to participate in international "Transform4Europe" trainings (in English), which will offer the opportunity to learn more about creating podcasts, delivering lectures to multilingual student groups, promoting the well-being and inclusion of students with disabilities in the university environment, and intercultural communication.

On April 4-5, Vytautas Magnus University representatives attended a transnational meeting in Athens, Greece which aimed to develop future steps of a new student project: “DON@ – Donation Opportunities for Newcomers”.
