“Primavera en español“ – Celebration of the Spanish-speaking World

On 15-25 April, Vytautas Magnus University (VMU) will host the annual festival "Primavera en español", which this year invites you to discover the cultural diversity of the Spanish-speaking world. All events are open to the general public and will be held in Spanish, Lithuanian and English.

International Staff Week 2024 Will Take Place at VMU

Vytautas Magnus University (VMU) community is delighted to host its esteemed colleagues in the VMU International Staff Week, taking place from April 22nd to April 26th, 2024, in Kaunas, Lithuania. This year, we anticipate the attendance of 118 participants from 48 countries. The week comprises a teaching programme with 79 lecturers and a training programme involving 39 administrative staff and lecturers.

Exhibition “Between Life and Death” to Open at VMU

The exhibition "Between Life and Death", organised by the European Network Remembrance and Solidarity (ENRS), will be held at Vytautas Magnus University from 19 April to 20 May. The opening of the exhibition will take place on Friday, 19 April at 16:00 in the 2nd floor foyer at Donelaičio g. 52, Kaunas.

On Tuesday, April 9th, Vytautas Magnus University (VMU) invites you to actively celebrate World Health Day together. World Health Day, initiated by the World Health Organization (WHO), has been celebrated at the beginning of every April for more than 70 years. This year, VMU encourages all members of the community – students, staff, and alumni – to spend the day being physically active and socially responsible.

Crown Prince of Norway visited VMU Centre of Ukraine

On 3 April, Crown Prince Haakon of Norway visited the Centre of Ukraine at the Education Academy of Vytautas Magnus University (VMU) in Vilnius, where he met with the First Lady of Lithuania, Diana Nausėdienė, and the Ambassador of Ukraine to Lithuania, Petro Beshta. During the meeting, Crown Prince Haakon of Norway was introduced to the activities of the VMU Centre of Ukraine.
